"Egghead Brothers" Bento Box Recipe

This is only part of a large picnic bento for a normal "un-do-kai"(field/sports day) event. Having a big picnic lunch with the family during the field day is a rite of passage in Japan. I love these little egghead brothers. These are boiled quail eggs with a small piece cut out for a mouth, then black sesame eyes and nose, with a cherry tomato half for a cap. This represents the typical look of elementary kids in running uniforms all wearing various colored caps. So cute! They're set on tamago-yaki (Japanese rolled omelets)
