Simple Colorful Kids Bento Box Recipe

One thing that impresses foreigners about Japanese cuisine is the variety of food and colors served at meals. This kids bento box is a perfect example. rice balls with sprinkles and nori seaweed, cherry tomatoes, sausages, omelets and other fun shaped frozen foods are just some common things that go into Japanese kids lunches. The variety is not only nutritious, but keeps kids interested in eating lunch more than if everything was just one color. Keep this simple principle in mind when making your kids' bento box lunch.
